Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia Announces Photo Contest

The Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia is pleased to announce the photo competition. Anyone is eligible to take part.

The contest covers six topics such as Georgian way of life, Georgian wine, Georgian house, mountainous Georgia, Georgian seaside and Georgia in general.

The contest participants are requested to send no more than five photos for each nomination. 15 best photos will be selected in each category, 90 photos in total to be anonymously posted on the website of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia. As a result of voting 21 best photos will be selected, three photos in each category. Three photos will be selected for the nomination Internet Favorite.

Photos are acceptable in a digital format at georgia@tourism.gov.ge. Submissions can be also delivered to the tourism information center located at the Freedom Square.

90 best photos will be selected within three days starting from October 15, 2010. Late in October the Department of Tourism and Resorts will provide the exhibition of 21 winning photos, with the indication of the authors, at the Blue Gallery and afterwards their procurement.
