Coalition for Justice Announces Contest for Journalists
A local NGO Coalition for Justice is pleased to announce contest for journalists on "Rights of the Internally Displaced Persons".
Coalition for Justice is an advocacy group promoting the rights of the internally displaced persons (IDP) in Georgia.
The contest aims at raising public awareness and promoting public debate around the issues of IDP rights. The contest entries shall cover the following topics:
** Ethnic cleansing, its goals, objectives and outcomes
** IDPs' right to return home and its legal instruments
** International practice of IDPs return and its prospects in the Georgian reality

Entries must be in Georgian, English or Russian languages and must be published/aired in the Georgian media from January 2011 to November 30, 2011. Contest entries will be judged in the following categories:
1. Best article
2. Best TV footage
3. Best radio feature
The contest winners will be identified by the competent jury. Winners will be awarded with certificates and cash prizes.
