Presentation of the Results of Research by Civil Development Institute
26 December, 2 p.m. in Tbilisi Marriott Hotel (Tamar Mepe Hall) will be held the presentation of the results of research conducted by the Civil Development Institute.
Does the society order daily programming schedule to televisions, or do televisions form public political taste?
Information accents of which televisions coincide with political priorities of the society?
Priority topics of which televisions coincide with each other more often?
Which topic was covered most intensively during pre-election period?
Which television answered most adequately the pre-election information order from Tbilisi population?
What role died the topic of torture of inmates play in the final results of elections?
These and other questions will be answered at the meeting at which the results of the research project conducted by the Civil Development Institute, by support from Open Society Georgia and in partnership with the Institute of Social Studies and Analysis (ISSA). The research was aimed at identifying the compliance of election interests of the society and information policies of different TV-Companies;
Meeting attendees will receive brochures with the report of 15 two-week period research and analysis of final results.
