Journalists are invited to the launch of the EU Prize for Journalism 2016 on June 29th at 13:00 at the Citadines Hotel, #4, Freedom Square, Tbilisi.
The Prize will be launched by the Delegation of the European Union in Georgia to support media professionalism and ethics and the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) to contribute to confidence building through its Special Prize for Peace Journalism.
The EU Prize for Journalism, established in 2012, seeks to encourage professionalism and ethical conduct in the Georgian media and will be awarded for the best works in print, broadcast, online, and photo journalism.
